Do you like to stop and pick wild flowers, travel to amazing destinations, drink a hot cup of coffee with a good friend, or maybe you just like dogs? Good, me too.

Welcome to The Rising M, my goal is that I can provide you a laugh, some helpful insight on where to eat and drink in your travels, shrare some insight on colon cancer and hopefully help you cook a mean steak.

I’m a gypsy soul who calls Eastern Oregon home, who really likes Hereford cattle, turquoise, and a closet full of shoes. Along those details, I love to cook, when I am not walking circles around gas stations praying, they have something fresh. My career has been the focus of my life for the better part of the last decade. I love to share what I’ve learned, because it’s been journey.

Something I would never change was having the opportunity to grow up in a rural community. I learned to be resourceful, that building a network and making quality friends, and a work ethic are some of the greatest blessings in life.

Today, I thankfully get to work remotely and am dedicated to the advacement of modern agriculture and our food system. Seasons change in my life with calving and college sports. I mean nothing goes better with the black and red of Texas Tech than Hereford cattle.

Do you have a rad little dog, that loves to visit college campuses? Nope, just me? I can’t say Waco loves it, but he tolerates our adventures. I consider him highly educated for his experiences.
